Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah insists there are still more work to be done despite his side’s heavy win over sloppy South Korea in their last pre-World Cup friendly on Monday night.

The Black Stars turned on the heat in style after demolishing the Asian giants in Miami.

It was a positive response from the Africans having lost to the Netherlands 1-0 in a similar exercise almost two weeks ago.

A superb hat-trick from Marseille young striker Jordan Ayew and Asamoah Gyan’s effort propelled the Black Stars to the 4-0 drubbing at the Sun Life stadium.

Despite the morale-boosting win , Ghana trainer Kwesi Appiah insists his side is not quite ready for their opener against US on Monday June 16.

''It's fine we won, but we still have some work to do,'' Appiah said.

The Black Stars know what it takes to beat the Americans having beaten them twice in the last two editions of the tournament in 2006 and 2010.

The Ghanaians will also play Europeans heavyweights Germany and Portugal in group G.
