Aduana Stars will welcome Libyan side Al Tahaddy SC to the Nana Agyemang Badu II park on Wednesday for the second leg of the preliminary round of the 2018 CAF Champions League.

The Fire Boys lost 1-0 in the first leg about two weeks ago at the Petro Sports Stadium in Cairo, Egypt.

It is the second ever time the Nana Agyemang Badu II is hosting an African club competition.

The maiden was 2011 when Aduana Stars beat current holders Wydad Athletic Club with a 1-0 scoreline but failed to advance to the next round after losing 3-0 in the reverse fixture in Morocco.

Coach Yusif Abubakar and his charges need a victory of two goals margin to make a progress since they have a goal deficit.

Yahaya Mohammed and Hafiz Adams remain out of the tie after the gaffer maintained his 18 man squad who travelled to Egypt a week aback for midweek's crunchy encounter.

This is going to be Al Tahaddy SC's first away tie in the premier club competition in forty years since their last participation was 1978.

It is also their first ever journey to the Western part of Africa.

Their previous four journeys in CAF club competitions were Egypt, Ethiopia, Algeria and Morocco.

With a 1-0 advantage from the first leg, any form of draw will see the Panthers sail through to the next round.

Apart from 1-0 defeat to the Libyans which will force the tie into penalties, any loss of a goal margin takes them to the next round of the CAF Champions League.

Coach Salah Raheel has his squad boosted with the return of Mohammed Amer El Tawergi Meftah.

He missed the first leg through a slight injury.
