The General Manager of Techiman Eleven Wonders Takyi Arhin believes the point his outfit picked against Hearts of Oak in the Premier League opener felt like an away victory for his side.

Eleven Wonders held the Phobians to a 1-1 stalemate at the Nana Ohene Ameyaw Park, after Winful Cobinna’s early strike was cancelled out by an Alex Asamoah strike in the second half.

According to Arhin, the draw was a massive feat for his side who picked their first ever point in the Ghana Premier League, stating the size of the two club’s in terms of money and following makes a result against them a celebratory achievement.

“When you playing a club like Accra Hearts of Oak at home and you draw, it is like going away and winning,” he said after the game.

“Just look at the entourage that came with the club, you have the whole national house of chiefs president, Togbe Afede, well dusted, a multi-millionaire and look at the people he came with."

"And you look at a team just handed by one person, when you look at the forces, I think it take some of us if not Hearts would have walloped any other team.”

Eleven Wonders will engage fellow newcomers Karela United in the second round of fixtures on Sunday.
