Ex-Asante Kotoko captain Godwin Ablordey has been appointed as team manager of the club, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.
Officials of the Kumasi-based side have settled on the former Ebusua Dwarfs player following his unbridled loyalty to the club over the years.
Ablordey is one of the longest-serving players of the club and help them rediscover their form during the erstwhile Herbert Mensahââ¬â¢s administration.
He was credited for bringing team unity during his days at the club and was noted for paying bonuses of players during the absence of the clubââ¬â¢s Executive Chairman.
His addition to the technical set-up to the club will be a welcoming one for the teeming supporters.
