Ablordey appointed Kotoko team manager

Ex-Asante Kotoko captain Godwin Ablordey has been appointed as team manager of the club, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.

Officials of the Kumasi-based side have settled on the former Ebusua Dwarfs player following his unbridled loyalty to the club over the years.

Ablordey is one of the longest-serving players of the club and help them rediscover their form during the erstwhile Herbert Mensah’s administration.

He was credited for bringing team unity during his days at the club and was noted for paying bonuses of players during the absence of the club’s Executive Chairman.

His addition to the technical set-up to the club will be a welcoming one for the teeming supporters.
