Aduana Stars and Asante Kotoko SC will know their opponents for the preliminary round of Africa's continental club competition on Wednesday as the Confederation of African Football conduct a draw in Cairo, Egypt.

Aduana Stars, the premiership champions will for the second time in their history represent Ghana in the 2018 CAF Champions League since their maiden appearance in 2011.

This will be their third time in the CAF Confederations Cup after being finalist in 2004 and a group stage finish in 2008.

The preliminary stages of both the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederations Cup are set for February, 2018.
