Aduana Stars have been eliminated from this year's CAF Champions League after suffering a 4-0 defeat to Algerian side ES Setif in the second leg at the Stade Mai 8 1945 on Sunday.

The two legs ended on a (4-1) aggregate scoreline after Aduana Stars had won the first leg by a lone goal at the Nana Agyeman Badu Park.

The Fire Boys were hoping to secure their first qualification to the group stages but that dream was cut short by ES Setif who proved stronger at home.

ES Setif player Moray Benayad scored a brace in the game with  Akram Djahnit and Abdelhakim Amokrane making it 4-0 for the 2014 CAF Champions League winners.

This defeat means Aduana Stars bow out of the CAF Champions League but they will compete in CAF's second-tier club competition, the Confederation Cup.
