Aduana Stars midfielder Elvis Opoku has assured fans of the club of victory over North Africans Raja Casablanca in the CAF Confederations Cup game on Wednesday.

The Ghanaian Champions lost their group A opener against Ivorian side Asec Mimosa and are looking at bouncing back with a victory over the African giants.

The "Ogya Boys" have a perfect home record this season in Africa, after wins over Libyan side Al Tahady, Algeria Champions ES Setif and Malagasy side Fosa Juniors.

Ahead of the game in Dormaa, Elvis Opoku says the club wants to win at all cost to enhance their chances of reaching the quarter finals of the competition.

"At this point, it is a win that matters and that is what we need to do, not the number of goals. We have to win on Wednesday to bring some form of hope among our fans who were downhearted after our loss to ASEC,” Opoku told CAFonline.com.

Aduana Stars reached the knockout stages of the CAF Confederations Cup after eliminating FOSA Juniors following their relegation from the CAF Champions League.

The Ghanaian side have never reached this stage of the competition and will want to go all the way to the quarter finals despite finding themselves in one of the toughest group in the competition.

The Dormaa based outfit are in group A with Asec Mimosa, Raja Casablanca and AS Vita.
