All Stars depart for Qatar tour on Friday

Ghana Premier League side All Stars will leave Accra on Friday for a ten-day training tour of Qatar, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

The tour,facilitated by the renowned Aspire Academy, will see the Wa-based side engage sides against teams from Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Italy, and Cyprus.

Eighteeen (18) players have been picked by the technical team.

"Almost all details have been sorted out and we'll live on Friday for the tour. We know it will be a good practice for the team as we get ready for another busy schedule next season," the club's Chief Executive Oduro Nyarko told GHANAsoccernet.com

"We didn't perform too well last season and so it imperative we out our house in close check and challenge for honours this time around."

Second-tier side Pure Joy are currently in South Africa and giants Asante Kotoko will also embark on a tour of Serbia next month.
