Ampem Darkoa Ladies talisman Princella Adubea has targeted to become the best female player on the continent and in the world.

The Ghana international scored the only which gave her side a 1-0 win over Lady Strikers to win the National Women's League Championship for the second consecutive time.

Adubea, who scored 19 goals in 11 league matches for Ampem Darkoa, says she is aiming higher.

''Feels great to defend the National Women’s League title. I aspire to be the best player in Africa and the world,'' she told the Ghana News Agency.

''When it comes to motivating myself, it is not about money but I encourage myself to be the best at what I do and when my fans are happy, it’s a great feeling for me. This award is a massive honour and a motivation to reach higher heights.''

Adubea is the reigning Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) Female Footballer of the Year.
