Anthony Annan to join Black Stars today in Korea

Ghana midfielder Anthony Annan will join his teammates in South Korea later today, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

The Schalke 04 player will be available for the team's training session in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province.

Annan was an unused substitute in last Friday's 3-1 win over Congo at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

He could earn a starting role in the absence of Michael Essien but face a battle with Getafe ace Derek Boateng.

The Black Stars will be without six players who were called up for camping for the Congo test.
