Ghana and Nigeria prospective students are among Africans who have been encouraged to apply for FIFA's Masters degree programme done at the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES).

The process officially opened the application process for the 19th edition (2018-2019) of the FIFA Master.

Organised by the International Centre for Sport Studies (CIES) in partnership with De Montfort University in Leicester (England), SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan (Italy) and the University of Neuchâtel (Switzerland), the International MA in Management, Law and Humanities of Sport - the FIFA Master was created to provide management education to the world of sport.

With over 90 per cent of our 475 FIFA Master graduates now working in the sports industry, the impact of the programme reaches across all continents and nations.

The alumni are currently working for organisations as diverse as, but not limited to, Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), International Olympic Committee (IOC), Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI), Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB),  UEFA,  AFC, Major League Soccer (MLS),  Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio (FIGC),  NBA, Juventus, Barcelona, Manchester City and the Sauber Formula 1 Team.

Since it was first established, the FIFA Master has received numerous awards.

It was ranked the top Postgraduate Sport Management programme in the world by Sport Business International magazine in 2014 and it is the first and only course to have ever achieved the landmark of being named the top course in Europe on five separate occasions (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2017) by the same independent ranking.

Please note that the deadline to apply for the 19th edition of the course is Friday 5 January 2018, midday (12am) Central European Time.
