Asante Kotoko players have been given a three-week break after a difficult season ended last Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors climaxed their season by beating rivals Hearts of Oak 3-1 to lift the MTN FA Cup final.

Head Coach Steve Pollack has given his players 21 days to cool off before returning for pre season.

Each player received GHc 5,000 as a present from the club's chairman Dr. Kwame Kyei.

Kotoko will have a busy 2018 having gained qualification to the CAF Confederation Cup.
