Asante Kotoko deny Korak sack reports

Asante Kotoko have denied reports that head coach Bogdan Korak will be sacked for failing to win the MTN FA Cup last Sunday.

Reports by the local media on Monday suggested that the Serb will be axed after the team's abject display against second-tier side Nania FC.

Korak joined Kotoko in November last year and helped the club, then flirting with relegation, to finish third on the league table.

"It's too early for people to do such speculation. I was very sad when I read that the coach will be sacked after the FA Cup. We've not taken any decision on it and I think it is also early. It's not true," Kotoko Administrative Manager Ben Nti said.

With this development, Korak is expected to lead the side for a pre-season tour to his native Serbia.
