Attcaker of Tagoe, Adiyiah fined by Serbian police

The man who assaulted Ghanaian strikers Prince Tagoe and Dominic Adiyiah in Belgrade has been fined by the Serbian police.

The two Partizan Belgrade players were assaulted at cafe Scenarium in Belgrade on Sunday.

The man only named by police as OB was handed the fine of an unspecified amount after being arraigned before magistrates in Belgrade.

He has signed a code of conduct for good behavior.

The incident occurred as the footballers were involved in a misunderstanding over seating.

The two Ghanaian players have been assigned two personal body guards in the wake of the incident at the cafe the two frequently visit as they both reside in its vicinity.

Supporters of Partizan Belgrade stormed the café to support their two players after word of the assault was aired on a local radio station.
