Ayew - I will always snub club for national team

Midfielder Rahim Ayew has declared his ever preparedness to feature for the national team whenever he is called upon.

The former XI Wise player who now plies his trade with Lierse in Belgium says he would not hesitate at all in choosing the Black Stars over his club.

"This is my country where i was born and bred and therefore i would have no problem at all in coming to help out when i am invited," he said.

"For me, the nation comes first therefore I'll always snub my club for the national team," he added.

The 23-year-old who is currently in his native country on holidays expressed his transfer joy from Zamalek where he had limited playing opportunities.

"For me i always want to play, thats the ultimate joy of a professional player.

"I didn't get much play time in Zamalek but now I play each and every week for my new club and i just hope it continues suit next season," he aid.
