BA Stars Chief Executive Charles Kwadwo Ntim has heaped praise on referee Alex Sowah despite losing their Division One League fixture in midweek.

He praised Sowah for his high sense of professionalism in their 1-0 reverse to Berlin FC at the Golden City Park.

"I think he is the best referee I have met in the lower divisions and after him taking charge of several of our matches," Ntim told Sunyani-based Storm FM.

"I think I cannot hide but to praise him for his efforts even though we lost.

"It is very rare to see a club official commending a referee after a loss in that respect but I believe he is the kind of an official who needs to be encouraged to reach a higher hights."

Ntim, affectionately called Micky Charles, added he would recommend to the authorities to promote referee Sowah to the Premier League.

"He (Sowah) deserves to be up there with the big referees in the premier league with this kind of performance," he added.
