Bechem United manager Bismarck Kobby Mensah has praised his player's mentality in their victory over WAFA on Sunday in match day 15 of the Zylofon Cash Premier League.

The former FA Cup Champions came from a goal down to beat West Africa Football Academy 2-1 with seven minutes left on the clock.

The Hunters have not won in their last two home games and were under pressure to deliver. Coach Kobby Mensah insists the victory show their ability to turn the tides to their side.

"I think it was a very difficult game I must say, the pressure was on us to deliver after four games without a win, he stated in a post match interview. "We have player two game at home without a win. A draw and a defeat," he added.

"As a team, there is much pressure on the whole team together to deliver. If you look at the game today, I didn't like the way we played in the first half. That is not my style of play but because we wanted a win, we went into the first half with a different approach."

"Seriously, it affected us. And again in the second half we tried to change a little bit and they scored. But it was good that we showed character, resilience and a very good mentality to come back and score because as at seven minutes to end of the game we were trailing," he concluded.

Bechem United finished the finished round tenth on the table after the victory over WAFA on Sunday.
