Asante Kotoko are close to signing highly rated right back Samuel Frimpong from Bekwai Youth Football Academy, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
Frimpong was a subject for a possible transfer to the Porcupine Warriors and Karela United FC during the first window but the deal did not materialize.
The former Accra Youth player will sign a two year deal with the Red family in the coming days.
He was a revelation when Asante Kotoko SC played Bekwai Youth Football Academy in the FA Cup last season.
