Debutants Berekum Chelsea reached the final qualifying round of the CAF Champions despite losing 3-0 at three-time champions Raja Casablanca on Sunday night.

The Ghanaian champions cruised through 5-3 on aggregate and are now one match away from playing in the prestigious money zone.

Chelsea ended the first half 0-0 at the Mohammed V Stadium but conceded two goals under 25 minutes in the second half.

Olhaj opened the scoring for the home side in the 50th minute after some clever passing from the Moroccoan side from the right.

Substitute Hassan Al Tayer doubled their lead in the 70th minute before Salhi scored the third at the death of the game.

They had few scoring opportunities but striker Emmanuel Clottey and captain Abdul Basit could not punish the three-time champions.

Chelsea will now face Cameroonian side Coton Sport FC de Garoua in the next stage.
