Berekum Chelsea draw AshGold in FA Cup

Ghana league leaders Berekum Chelsea have been handed a tough draw against AshantiGold in the MTN FA Cup round of 64.

Chelsea with a seven point lead on the log sheet will host last season's runners-up at the Golden City Park later this month.

Other premier league sides drew tricky ties with Hearts of Oak having to face second-tier side Pure Joy FC in Accra.

There is an-all premiership affair as Ebusua Dwarfs host Aduana Stars in Cape-Coast and Medeama Sporting Club entertain Real Tamale United.

Asante Kotoko will welcome Danbot FC and Inter Allies engage New Edubiase United.

King Solomon face Mighty Jets, Heart of Lions drew KFC; Berekum Arsenals play Ajax.

Wa All Stars have Istanbul FC to contest; Liberty Professionals will test Bofoakwa Tano and King Faisal are set to see off Mine Stars.

Relegation threatened BA Stars have a plum draw at Berekum Friction.

The matches will be played on 21 and 22 January and 28 and 29 January.

The winner of the revived FA Cup will earn 20,000 Ghana cedis.
