Berekum Chelsea through to FA Cup semis

Berekum Chelsea secured qualification to the semi-final of the MTN FA Cup after beating Bolga All Stars 0-1 on Wednesday afternoon.

Striker Emmanuel Banahene's 18th minute goal separated the two sides and kept Cheslea on course for a historic double.

The runaway league champions will face second-tier side FC Nania next.

But Chelsea CEO Kwame Nketiah was disappointed with the team's performance.

"I don't know what happened to the boys because they didn't play well at all. I don't know whether it has anything to do with the opponent who play in the second division," Chief Executive Nana Kwame Nketiah told www.berekumchelsea.com

"Our next match will be difficult because Nania FC have been a force and a surprise package this season."

Chelsea finished the match with ten men after Ahmed Adams picked up a second yellow card in injury time.
