Black Starlets head coach Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin believes their upcoming one month European tour will help his charges acclimatize before heading to India for the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup tournament.

The twinkle twinkle little stars will emplane on a one month European tour ahead of the forthcoming FIFA world juvenile tournament in India in October in a bid to acclimatize with the weather.

And according to the coach, the move is a step in the right direction for the team.

“We have been playing under the Africa weather for over a long time and it is prudent we go out there and engage the Europeans and the South American countries to have a feel of what they will be bringing to the table during the tournament.”

“So far we have pitched our strength with both Ghanaian and some African countries. Its time we do so against some top European countries and Clubs as well to further assess our chances at the tournament”, coach Paa Kwesi adde.

According to him, the weather factor was also important for his team as they hope to get to India without any issues about the weather conditions there.

“You know that the weather is totally different there as well as the time zones, so we need to get all these things intact before the tournament starts. That is why we believe that the month long European tour will help us to achieve that.”

The two-time world champions have been pitted in Group A alongside India, Colombia and USA.
