Ghana midfielder Derek Boateng wants to play at the World Cup finals before sorting out his club future at Spanish side Getafe.

Boateng is in France with the Black Stars fighting for a place in the final 23-man squad for the World Cup.

The 27-year-old had an impressive debut in the La Liga and has been linked with top notch sides this summer.

But the former Panathinaikos enforcer is refusing to be drawn into any discussion regarding his future.

"I don't want to talk about my club future now because all I want to do is to make it to the World Cup in South Africa," said Boateng. "I want to make Ghana proud at the World Cup and so any talk about my next destination will happen after the tournament.

"I am happy with the coach for the way he has treated me in the team and that goes for everyone. We are united eager to dorn our national colours."
