Midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng scored in AC Milan’s 4-0 rout of Arsenal in the Uefa Champions League match played on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old opened the scoring in front of a packed San Siro Stadium with a delightful volley in the 15th minute and went on to play a key role in the remainder of the historic win.

Brazilian Robinho grabbed a brace with strike-partner Zlatan Ibrahimovic completing a woeful night for the Gunners from spot with eleven minutes to go.

The resounding 4-0 win gives the Rosseneri a firm lead going into the return encounter in a fortnight at the Emirates.

Arsenal will now need a miracle to overturn their worst ever defeat to an Italian side in all competitions.
