Former Ghana U20 midfielder Godfred Donsah is excited with his side’s solitary win over Genoa at the  Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris (Genova) on Saturday in the Italian Serie A.

A 73rd minute strike by Arbgentine international Rodriogo Palacio was all The Red and Blues needed to steal all points away.

And Donsah has reiterated the significance of winning the game and how it his side needed to win the game.

“We wanted the three points at all costs. It was really important to win before the upcoming break and we managed to achieve our goal,” he said after the game.

Obviously, we knew that it would be a struggle, but we held on right until the end,” he added.

Donsah then revealed that he did not hesitate to stay at Bolgna when it became necessary as he knew the side will shape up this season.

As for me staying at Bologna, it was a simple decision. I was convinced that this team could do well.”
