The Ghana Premier League has been handed a massive boost following declaration by business mogul and owner of Zylofon Media Nana Appiah Mensah to sponsor the league.
This comes as a massive relief to clubs as the Ghanaian league has gone three season without a title sponsor.
Nana Appiah Mensah who is the owner of Division One League side Star Madrid made the declaration when he visited Ghana U20 and U17 sides at their camping base in Prampram.
"Nana Appiah Mensah says I should inform you that Zylofon Media will be sponsoring the Ghana Premier League," spokesman of the business mogul said when he was addressing the players.

Nana Appiah Mensah donated an amount of GHC20,000 to bother team at Prampram and promised to do more for them when they finally qualify for their various competitions.
The sponsorship by Zylofon Media will be the biggest relief for Ghana FA President Kwesi Nyantakyi who has been overly criticised for his inability to find a sponsor for the Ghana Premier League.
The Ghanaian league has never lacked major sponsors but have struggled to hook on to one since First Capital Plus Bank pulled out of their five years sponsorship deal with the GFA.
The league was sponsorless for the whole of last season but the story will not be the same this season with the appearance of Zylofon Media.
The Ghana Premier League could soon be called the Zylofon Premier League.
