Club Athletique Renaissance de Aiglon captain Olfaga Okilele has reiterated their readiness for the upcoming clash against Asante Kotoko in the preliminary round of the CAF Confederations Cup.

The seven times Congolese Champions will square off against the Porcupine Warriors in the first leg of the preliminary round of games in the continent's second-tier club competition on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Speaking ahead of the game, Okiele sounded optimistic about their chances against the Ghana MTN FA Cup holders.

“We have no extraordinary preparation for this [against Kotoko], it’s a normal match just like any other match,” Okiele told Kumas-based Fox FM.

“We are approaching the match as we would have done against any other side.”

“All our players who played the league last season are still with the club, there has not been any additions neither did anyone moved to other clubs.”

The DR Congo side are expected to arrive in Ghana on Thursday and Captain Olfaga Okiele confirmed their arrival will be on the said day.

“If all go well we will arrive in Ghana by Thursday.”
