Former Hearts and Asante Kotoko star Charles Taylor says he is enjoying his stay at Nigerian Premier League side Enugu Rangers despite reports of him struggling to find his feet.

His three goals in 11 League matches keeps him on the road to recovery.

The 29-year-old is yet to recapture his form that helped him win the 2000 African Champions League and three consecutive League titles all with Hearts of Oak from 2000-2002.

Taylor named after the former Liberian president is currently in the country to sort out some family issues.

"I just arrived some few days back, we have our last game but I have sought permission from the coach to come down and solve some family problems,” The midfielder exclusively told Ghanasoccernet.com

"I have so far played in three different leagues-Ghana, Tunisia and Nigeria. I think Nigeria is okay and I like the atmosphere here.

"The coach has assigned me the same role as I was playing here in Ghana so I am very comfortable in the league."

Taylor was a member of Ghana's home-based squad that won silver at the maiden 2009 African Championship of Nations in Ivory Coast.
