Ghana star winger Christian Atsu has expressed anticipation ahead of his expected debut appearance in the Merseyside derby as his Everton side clash with rivals Liverpool in the English Premier League on Saturday afternoon.Â
The 22-year-old Chelsea loanee is expected to start from the bench as Roberto Martinez's side make a short trip to Anfield to face under-performing Liverpool.
And, the Ghana winger is anticipating his first Merseyside derby.
"My first Merseyside derby tomorrow," he tweeted on Friday night.
Atsu earned his first Premier League start last weekend at the Goodison Park when Crystal Palace defeated his Everton side 3-2 and also started and finished the 3-0 League Cup exit at the hands of Swansea City during the mid-week.
Atsu is on loan at Everton from Chelsea till the end of the 2014/15 season.
