Real Tamale United defender Daniel Coleman is quitting the club after accusing his head coach Mohammed Gargo of making ''ethnocentric'' comments against him.

Coleman, who has applied to the player status committee of the Ghana FA as a free agent, claims he may join the Ghana Premier League leaders if formalities are completed.

The 27-year-old claims he was not treated well by the Real Tamale United boss and accused the ex-Ghana midfielder of 'segregation'.

"Ever since Gargo took charge of the team, I've had some few issues with the club because he said he doesn’t want anyone from Kumasi to play for the club and so it was important I looked elsewhere," Coleman told Peace FM.

"There are many clubs chasing me but its most probably I will join Chelsea if y floating status is approved by the FA soon."
