Ghana forward David Accam scored his first MLS hat trick and added an assist to help Chicago Fire defeat Orlando City 4-0 at the Toyota Park.
Accam opened the scoring in the 3rd minute with a thumping header following a cross from Matt Polster.
The 26-year-old quickly registered his second of the night in the 8th minute after connecting to Bastian Schweinsteiger's long pass.
In the 52nd, Accam picked up an assist with a short pass between two defenders to league scoring leader Nemanja Nikolic, who put the ball in from the right side for his 14th goal.
Accam completed his first hat trick in the league from the penalty spot in the 63rd minute after he was taken down in the box by Scott Sutter.
Chicago extended its unbeaten streak to nine and is undefeated in 12 home matches, including a team-record seven in a row this year.
The former Helsinborgs sharp shooter has scored 10 goals in the ongoing MLS season.
He is expected to replicate this form for the Black Stars in their upcoming international friendly games against El Tri of Mexico and the Yankee Boys of USA.
