Defender Isaac Vorsah is revelling in his first goal for Ghana after scoring in the Black Stars' 3-1 win over Congo in an African Cup of Nations qualifier on Friday night.

The Germany-based defender, who earned his 16th cap for the West African country, opened the scoring for the Black Stars on the night.

The Hoffeinheim centre back capped an incredible individual performance on the night by notching the Black Stars first goal through a glancing header on the 62nd minute.

Vorsah said: ''It's always great to score and I’m delighted with the goal that I got for the team.

"I thank the fans for the massive support tonight. It’s really refreshing.''

Vorsah scored similar goals for Hoffenhenheim in the Bundesliga this season.
