Dickoh waits for future talks with Hibernian

Francis Dickoh hopes to remain playing football in Britain with his contract at Hibernian set to expire.

The 28-year-old centre-back has adjusted well since arriving at Easter Road on the final day of the transfer window in summer 2010 after penning a one-year deal with Hibs.

The Danish-born Ghana international now faces an uncertain wait to see his future resolved over the summer months.

Despite the last-minute nature of his transfer to Scotland, Dickoh insists he would like to remain in the UK, whether playing in England or north of the border.

The player's agent Michael Johansen told Bold.dk: "He has had a good season with Hibernian and we hope that there will be some offers from England.

"But we know that English and Scottish clubs like to go on holiday and will come back a little later, when the transfer window opens, so things will probably take some time.

"There have been some talks about an extension, but the finances could be a problem.

"But they like him and would like him to stay so things aren't done yet."
