Div 1 Lge play-offs set for showdown

Medeama FC and Dwarfs are set for a fierce final clash to decide who plays in the Premier League next season after two wins apiece in the Division One League promotional play-offs.

Medeama jumped to the top of the Zone 2 table on goal difference after a 5-2 victory over West Ham United at the Tema Park on Thursday.

Former Premiership side Ebusua Dwarfs continue with their winning streak with a slim a 1-0 win against Mine Stars at the Ohene Djan Stadium.

Both Dwarfs and Madeama clash on the final match day next Monday to decide who earns the sole qualification ticket from the zone.

In Zone 3, the race for qualification remains open after leaders Tudu Mighty Jets drew goalless with Tema Youth in Cape-Coast.

Pure Joy FC beat Nania FC 3-2 to stay in second and one-point adrift the leaders.

Tema Youth who have two points, can shock pundits if they beat Pure Joy and Mighty Jets lose to Nania FC.
