Ghana striker Eric Bekoe has returned to action after long injury-induced absence.

The former Kotoko attacker played for Egyptian club Petrojet in a friendly match on Sunday.

He was in action for twenty minutes during the game.

Bekoe has been out of action for one year which led to him missing the African Cup of Nations and World Cup.

He will play more matches for Petrojet this season before he could be considered for the Black Stars.

Bekoe was the leading scorer for his club before the knee injury knocked him out.
