2:38Liverpool 5-0 Watford: Salah bamboozles hapless Hornets

Mo Salah set a number of new individual and club achievements with his four goals and assist, as Liverpool battered Watford at Anfield.

Mohamed Salah scored four goals and assisted on the fifth as Liverpool moved into third in the Premier League with a 5-0 victory over Watford at Anfield on Saturday.

Salah, who had his first Liverpool hat trick, brought his league goal tally up to 28 to move four clear of Tottenham's Harry Kane in the race for the Golden Boot.

Salah opened the scoring in the fourth minute by cutting into the penalty area from the right and bursting past Miguel Britos before shifting to his right foot and finishing. His second goal, from a cross by Andy Robertson, gave his side the 2-0 lead on 39 minutes.

Roberto Firmino then extended Liverpool's lead to 3-0 in the 49th minute. After reaching the right byline, Salah stopped and fired a cross into the box, and Firmino, who appeared to overrun the ball, leapt and managed to slot it past Orestis Karnezis with the inside of his right leg.

Salah finished off his hat trick in the 77th minute, entering the area and finishing with his left foot despite falling down and being surrounded by five Watford players. He then scored his fourth goal in the 85th minute when Karnezis stopped Danny Ings but failed to hold onto the ball, leaving an easy finish.

2:11Stoke 1-2 Everton: Tosun double punishes Stoke

Cenk Tosun's fourth goal in three games gave Everton a 2-1 win over 10-man Stoke City.

Cenk Tosun scored two goals in the second half as Everton ended a five-game winless run away from home with a 2-1 victory over 10-man Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium.

Tosun, a January signing from Besiktas who has four goals in his last three games, put Everton ahead in the 69th minute and, after Stoke equalised, scored the winner in the 83rd minute with a diving header from a cross from Theo Walcott.

Stoke, reduced to 10 men in the 30th minute when Charlie Adam was sent off for a late challenge on Wayne Rooney, had equalised in the 77th minute when Maxim Choupo-Moting deflected a free kick past Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford before leaving through injury.

Everton had not won away from home in the league since Dec. 13 and prolong Stoke's run of seven games without a victory, leaving them second from bottom and now three points from safety.

1:45Huddersfield 0-2 Crystal Palace: Tomkins & Milivojevic sink Terriers

Crystal Palace's survival hopes received a massive boost with a 2-0 win at Huddersfield, courtesy of goals from James Tomkins and Luka Milivojevic.

A first-half goal by James Tomkins and a penalty by Luka Milivojevic helped Crystal Palace pull out of the relegation zone with a 2-0 victory against Huddersfield Town at the John Smith's Stadium.

It was the first victory in seven Premier League games for Palace, who ended a four-game losing streak and briefly celebrated the return of Wilfried Zaha from a knee injury before he left the pitch in discomfort in the 89th minute.

Milivojevic's 23rd-minute corner landed near Tomkins in the box, and though his first effort was stopped by Huddersfield goalkeeper Jonas Lossl, he put Palace on the board by slotting home the rebound.

Palace then doubled their lead after Mathias Jorgensen took down Tomkins in the 67th minute and Milivojevic calmly converted the penalty for his eighth goal of the season.

1:40Bournemouth 2-1 West Brom: Stanislas free-kick wins it late

Junior Stanislas' superb 89th minute free-kick condemned a valiant West Brom to another defeat as they remained rooted to the bottom of the Premier League.

Junior Stanislas left it late to deny West Bromwich Albion their first point since Jan. 20 -- a run of six games -- as Bournemouth claimed a 2-1 victory over the Premier League's bottom side at the Vitality Stadium.

Stanislas struck in the 89th minute with a long drive that curled just beyond the reach of West Brom goalkeeper Ben Foster.

Jay Rodriguez gave West Brom the lead in the 49th minute with a volley from a Salomon Rondon header, but Bournemouth's Jordon Ibe equalised in the 77th minute on a low strike.

West Brom have now matched their club record with their seventh consecutive league defeat.
