Former Ghana international Sam Johnson has implored the Black Stars B to eschew complacency ahead of their Sunday's second leg 2018 CHAN qualifier against Burkina Faso.

The local based senior national team will welcome the Stallions of Burkina Faso to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the 2nd leg of the CHAN 2018 qualifier on Sunday with the aim of sealing qualification to the competition in Kenya, having played out a 2-2 stalemate a week ago in Ouagadougou.

And the former Hearts of Oak defender has cautioned the team to do away with the notion of having advantage over their opponent, but instead try and start the game on the front foot.

"I'll urge them to finish the game off in style. They should not think for one bit that they have advantage over the Burkinabes because if they don't take time and Burkina take the lead, it will put them under enormous pressure," Johnson exclusively asserted on ETV's E-Sports Show.

"It will be better for them to start strongly with let's say one or two goals which will make them feel more relaxed and play their normal game. I hope they go into the match with that mentality and not to be complacent. We have quality players to execute the job neatly."
