Head coach of Black Queens Yusif Basigi is set to leave the country and join a Serbian top-flight club, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

Basigi, led the Black Queens to a third placed finish in the 2016 Africa Women’s Nations Cup in Cameroon.

In an interview with GHANAsoccernet.com, Basigi said, “It’s an invitation from one of Serbians top sides to partake in a one month coaching attachment."

“The Ghana FA is aware and also the technical director, Oti Akenteng because the club communicated with them even before the official invitation was sent. I believe it is step in the right direction for me because the next assignment for the Queens is far from now and i don't want to sit idle, so i think it's a good opportunity for me."
