Evans Mensah will arrive in Finland to sign for HJK Helsinki

Ghana teenage prodigy Evans Mensah will arrive in Finland on Monday to undergo a medical before sealing a move to giants HJK Helsinki, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

Inter Allies whizkid left Accra on Sunday night to travel to the Scandinavian country to sign the contract with the highly rated clubs, Ghana's leading football news outfit can reveal.

The 19-year-old, who was handed a place in Ghana's senior national team in March, will have to undergo the medical before he signs the contract.

The deal was brokered by Spanish agent Manuel Sierra, his company Futbal Divisao and their Ghanaian partners Soccertime Africa who are seeking to build Mensah's career in Europe.

They will start him in Finland where he will get regular playing time before venturing to the top leagues of Europe.

He will join two other Ghanaians at the club Anthony Annan and Richard Gadze who have excelled so far this season is HJK Helsinki.

But Mensah must first pass the medical before the deal is sealed and that is expected to be done by the end of Monday.

He is also part of Ghana's U20 squad.

Mensah is highly rated in the Ghana Premier League after winning three man-of-the-match awards in five matches.
