Faisal CEO Odotei wants Ghana FA post

King Faisal Chief Executive Vincent Sowah-Odotei has launched his bid to oust the Kwesi Nyantakyi led Ghana FA administration and accused the incumbent of ruining the sport.

Odotei, who lost miserably to the current FA boss in the last elections five years ago, is preaching change and claims he has the master plan to improve the fortunes of clubs in the country.

The Confederation of African Football  last week reduced the number Ghana’s slots for inter-clubs competitions starting next year due to past poor performances by representatives- a scenario Odotei attributes to the sorry state of the game in the country.

"The reduction of slots by Ghanaian clubs tells you the deteriorating state that our league finds itself and that is why Kwesi Nyantakyi must go and give way to someone else," Odotei said

"The most objective minds will tell you that our clubs are not performing well because there are no proper structures and that is why there must a change of hands."

He added that: "If you come to the FA, people are afraid to say their minds because they power of autocracy is so evident that people have to look over the shoulders when his name pops up at the FA

"How do you access the system of football in Ghana ever since he took over? he asked

Ghana Football Association elections was pushed forward to December 2011 to enable the current administration concentrate adequately for the 2010 World Cup campaign.
