Football fans are demanding refund for the boycotted stadium disaster memorial match between Hearts and Asante Kotoko on Saturday.
Hearts decided not to play the ceremonial match after accusing Kotoko for breach of trust in deciding to use reserve player for the encounter.
The Phobians fielded old players like Abukari Damba, Eben Dida, Charles Allotey, legend Mohammed Polo and Black Queens goalkeeper Memunatu Sulemana.
While Kotoko's fringe players Soulama Abdoulaye, Louis Quainoo, Gershon Akuffu, Ohene Brenya, Ofosu Appiah, Afranie Yeboah, Albert Bruce, Samed Oppong, Obeng Reagan, Stephen Oduro and Edward Affum were selected by coach Bogdan Korak.
Hearts did not turn up for the match after the warm-up claiming Kotoko did not abide by the rules or procedure given by the organizers, National Sports Authority.
Ghana League Clubs Association chairman Reverend Emmanuel Adotey was unsuccessful in trying to convincing Hearts to change their mind.
This infuriated the fans who sang and chanted for almost 20 minutes all to register their displeasure about the abrupt end of the game.
The Police managed to cool tempers and convinced most of the furious fans to leave the stadium.
"I swear to God I will collect my money back from the organizers of this competition. I paid GHC 5 for the ticket and I cannot allow somebody to take if for free,'' a fan who gave his name as Andy Cole said.
