Former Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) chairman J.Y Appiah has taken a potshot at the chairman of the Disciplinary Committee A of the Ghana Football Association, Prosper Harrison Addo, claiming that he's the bane of football in the country.

Mr. Appiah, who is a member Board of Directors for Sunyani-based second-tier side Tano Bofoakwa, has questioned the competence of the Mr. Prosper Addo, who presides over all Disciplinary issues brought to the committee by local clubs.

The renowned football administrator launched the attack on the aforementioned lawyer over his sloppy work and bias in arbitrating disciplinary issues at the FA.

"Prosper Harrison Addo is the reason our local football is suffering, I agree with those calling for his resignation, his appointment is even illegal, his resignation was accepted at Congress but brought back through the back door," J.Y told Oyerepa FM.

"He adds to the enemies of Ghana football, I mean the Executive committee of the Ghana Football Association as the number one enemy and then he and his committee."

The 2017/18 Ghana Premier League which was supposed to start on February 9 was suspended after the Ghana Football Association was served with a court injunction by Great Olympics in a protest that Bechem United used an unqualified player against them last season.
