Ghana Football Association spokesperson Randy Abbey  has been heavily linked with the vacant Chief Executive Officer job of Hearts of Oak according to reports in the local media.

The 2000 African Champions have set-up a three-man team to find a substantive Chief Executive.

Reports claim Mr Abbey could be in line to take over the reins of the club barring any last minute hitch.

Abbey was the former Chief Executive of the defunct Kessben FC and acted as the media coordinator for Ghana at the Fifa World Cup finals in South Africa.

Also linked with the job is Ghana FA Executive Committee member Fred Crentsil.
