Ghana chief Nyantakyi happy over SA camping

Ghana Football Association President, Kwesi Nyantakyi says the Black Stars training camp in South Africa this week has been 'helpful' to the squad.

The Black Stars have been camping in the country in preparation towards Saturday's 2014 World Cup qualifier against Zambia in Ndola.

The GFA President says the training camp has given the squad the needed concentration an d preparation for the game.

"The camp here in Johannesburg has been very useful and helpful. The players had the needed peace of mind to prepare for the game," Nyantakyi told the FA's website.

"We provided everything the squad needed to make them ready to take on the Zambians and we are positive going into the game."

The Black Stars will face the Chipolopolo in Ndola and their training camp has put them in the right shape for the game.

Ghana are currently top of Group D after their emphatic 7-0 win over Lesotho in their opening game in the group.

Zambia, the African champions, lost 2-0 to Sudan in the group's other game.
