Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah parades new side to face Saudi Arabia in friendly

Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah will parade a side with many of the players getting their debut starts for the national team in an international friendly with the Green Falcons of Saudi Arabia on Tuesday evening.

Three players will be handed their debut appearances for the Black Stars together with other young players in the side who are also establishing themselves in the team.

Coach Kwasi Appiah expects the players to make good use of the opportunity and prove they can also match up if they are ever called upon.

Bordeaux shot stopper Lawrence Ati Zigi will be handed his first start in the team with Young Boys defender Kasim Nuhu getting his debut while Patrick Twumasi also starts for the Black Stars.

Skipper Daniel Amartey will play on the right side of defence while Kasim Nuhu and Nicholas Opoku play in the heart with Lumor Agbenyenu keeping his left back role.

Joseph Attama Larweh will have the chance to play at his favourite position as a holding midfielder with support from Alfred Duncan and Patrick Twumasi on the flanks with Ebenezer Ofori in an attacking midfield role.

In-form Thomas Partey will play behind Raphael Dwamena in a 4:4:1:1 system.
