Ghana govt secures over 1300 WC tickets for fans

The Ghana government has purchased 1,346 tickets to enable selected supporters,  officials and other individuals to watch the Group matches of the Black Stars at the World Cup finals. The move comes after four supporters union failed to raise funds acquire match tickets for Ghana's matches.

Government wants to raise funds for nearly 450 Ghanaian football enthusiasts with almost US$ 120,000 invested by the Sports Ministry as part of a bail out plan for the Millennium Supporters Union.
