Ghana defender Baba Rahman was one of the players who came out of Augsburg 1-0 defeat to Wolfsburg on Sunday with his image intact.

The 20-year-pld is slowly becoming one of the stand out performers in the Bundesliga this season following his move from second-tier side Greuther Furth.

The Ghana international has started five out of the seven Bundesliga games for his side Augsburg this season and has shown little signs of fatigue.

Manager Markus Weinzierl spoke of the Ghanaian’s work ethics before his arrival.

“Baba Rahman is a young hard working player who we are happy to be adding to our ranks for the upcoming season. He will add another dimension to our play and he is not new to Bundesliga football,” Weinzierl said during his unveiling and Baba has since proved to be a bargain so far.

The left-back is set to join his international colleagues and should retain his starting role in the Black Stars after impressing on his debut in in last month’s 3-2 against Togo in Lome.
