Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah noted on Twitter that he could join Juventus â€œor go to England” for Manchester United.

The Udinese midfielder is currently on international duty with Ghana, but the Fruilani confirmed advanced negotiations with Juve for Asamoah and Mauricio Isla.

“Can’t say a lot except that where ever my future is I want to win things and better myself as a player. Will let u know where that is,” he wrote on Twitter this evening.

“Udinese is in my heart. If I stay in Italy or go to England that doesn’t change. Attention now on Ghana and hope to have news nxt wk.”

This is an important statement, as it suggests the talks with Manchester United are not entirely concluded.

It was reported last week that United had seen their €12m offer for Asamoahturned down by Udinese.
