Ghana U-17 get new opponents for Caf qualifier

Published on: 03 August 2010

Ghana Under-17 team will now face Zambia in their African Championship after Caf disqualified initial opponents Uganda.

Uganda eliminated the Young Chipolopolo 3-1 on aggregate but were expelled from the qualifiers for fielding over-aged players.

The Black Starlets will honour the first leg in Lusaka on 27 August and the second leg in a fortnight back home.

Ghana have lined up a friendly against 2011 African Under-17 championship hosts Rwanda this weekend to trim rough edges before the first round qualifier.
