Ghana Under-20 coach Orlando Wellington has rubbished claims by his Namibia counterpart that he fielded over-aged players in their first leg tie a fortnight ago.

Bernard Kaanjuka caused controversy in Accra by claiming Ghana's players are beyond the age limit after his side lost 4-0.

The Black Satellites left Accra on Wednesday night for the penultimate African Youth Championship in Windhoek this weekend.

"We are not bothered by the things that he said because they certainly untrue and would not be distracted at all," Wellington told Ghanasoccernet.com. "They have birth certificates and passports which clearly state their ages. We won’t and do not need to cheat to beat them. We are a much stronger side and we’re determined to complete the double this weekend."
